Church Location: 1911 West Market St Harrisonburg, VA 22801 Phone: (540) 801-0519 Office Hours: 9am-3:30pm, M-F | BISHOP GERALD DOGGETT has a vision to minister the Word of God to the nations by planting a church in every country and by deploying spiritual sons and daughters around the world. After more than 40 years in the ministry, he is well on his way to achieving that vision. Gerald and his wife, Doris, have assisted in the establishment of more than 200 churches and have ministered in Europe, Africa, Asia, South America, Canada, Mexico, Israel and across the United States. As founders of Gerald Doggett Ministries and Covenant Connection International, the Doggett’s currently counsel 150 spiritual leaders and oversee approximately 20 churches. They have been married over 40 years, and have three children and six shining grandchildren. Gerald is uniquely gifted at mentoring churches and their leaders so they may reach their full potential in the Kingdom of God. He explains his key philosophy this way: “Everyone possesses seeds of greatness that must be discovered, nurtured and developed.” As a mentor and life coach, Gerald works tirelessly with ministers, pastors and church leaders to better equip them to serve more effectively. With more than 30 years in pastoral ministry, Gerald is best known for his compassionate counsel and his proven ability to provide step-by-step instruction to help his protégés achieve their dreams and goals. Specifically, Gerald helps leaders: Awaken their inner dreams Shift their mindset to think outside the box Chart a course to accomplish goals they previously thought were unachievable Formulate an action plan to keep them focused and on track
Gerald is tenacious and highly effective at holding people accountable to their plans long after the initial counseling sessions are over. He is sincerely committed to helping individuals build their self-worth, increase their confidence and find their inspiration. Gerald’s depth of knowledge, real-world experience and impressive credentials set him apart from other pastoral ministers. As an ordained minister, he knows first hand the tough issues and challenges today’s church leaders face. His wisdom and sincerity come from one who has “been there.” Highlights of his career include positions as the National Director of Pastoral Care for Harvest Churches International and the Head of Pastoral Staff and Dean of Judah Bible College. He also serves on the Advisory Council of Faith Christian University. Recently consecrated as a Bishop, he serves under Bishop Mark Chironna. He received a Doctor of Divinity degree from Faith Christian University. Gerald counts among his most important accomplishments his contributions to the construction of a medical clinic with a surgical unit in Mexico, and the building and support of bible colleges and training centers in Mexico, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam. |
